8-Track Productions is proud to announce that they are now accepting donations via kickstarter.com for their next feature film “Little Magdeline”.
“Little Magdeline” is a romantic Drama about a man who reconnects with his 6 year old daughter with whom he has never met. Because of this, he reevaluates his life, the way he loves and his relationships.
“Little Magdeline” will be the third feature film Directed by Zack Scott (The 28th Day: The Wrath of Steph) with a screenplay by Zack Scott, Thomas D. Butler and Kate Nichols from a story by Zack Scott. It stars Kate Nichols and features Jodie Grundin. It will be shot by Laura Beth Love (Asteroid Vs. Earth, Jailbait, Alpha House) and edited by Ludmil Kazakov (Last Supper, Robocroc, Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines). It will be produced by Zack Scott and Kate Nichols.
“Kickstarter is a great site to raise funds with because it is all or nothing,” says Zack Scott. “It’s the most trustworthy fundraising site on the internet because once you meet the goal, you are now accountable to your contributors to finish your project, which we will! Our last film, The 28th Day: The Wrath of Steph, was self funded and we only spent $2,000 on that film but that film shows what we could do. This film, albeit a whole lot less complicated than “The 28th Day”, will have a lot more people that we are collaborating with. I have spent the past three months finding a great bunch of key crew members who love what they do! This is what I want. I’ve been on sets where there are people aren’t just jazzed that they are working on a film set. Ludmil, Laura, Crystal as well as our production manager LaChelle Hunt and our Music Supervisor Derek War Love what they do! This is what makes this film different than others that are looking for funds on Kickstarter.”
